SPM SHREDDED PINE MULCH - reddish brown in colour with a minimal amount of wood fiber, having a pine fresh fragrant aroma that contributes toward making this our most popular ground cover mulch.

  1. The colour darkens in time to an attractive black as it breaks down
  2. Reapplication is required every year or alternating years
  3. Decomposed pine mulch is an excellent organic soil amendment that improves a soil's friability and water retention
  4. Low in pH (4'5) can contribute to optimum nutrient uptake
  5. Has good weight characteristics for staying in place
