The Niagara Construction Association (NCA) is a non-profit organization established to represent the interests of the commercial and industrial construction industry. Members are General and Trade Contractors, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Architects, Engineers and other professionals affiliated with the industry.

NCA was first known as the St. Catharines and District Builders Exchange, with a mandate to protect the interests of those in and associated with the local construction industry. Although the Association’s field of operation has broadened with the years, its mandate is clearly as strong as ever. The offices relocated in the 1960’s to the current location of 34 Scott Street proudly built with the donated products and services of the members. In 1961, to recognize the growing regional focus of the exchange, the name changed to the Niagara Peninsula Builders Exchange. By 1968, when suppliers, architects, engineers, consultants, lawyers and insurance representatives began to join as associate members, the greater diversity of the membership promoted a name change to the Niagara Construction Association (NCA).
